Awabe English Pronunciation: An App Review
Technology has become an indispensable part of study in 21st century. Using technologies to correct pronunciation is a very common matter nowadays. Consequently, there are lots apps available on internet to provide fruitful solutions for the learners.
There is a distinguished app, Awabe English Pronunciation, among those which provides very specific lessons on specific topics of pronunciation. It helps to learn with practical tasks like uttering sounds. It has some good features for example, sounds of phonetic symbols, transcriptions of words, phonetic transcription of sentences and quick dictionary to get the meaning of the words.
In the meantime, it has some faults like dissimilarities between transcriptions and pronunciations. Sometimes, its transcription is British but pronunciation is American. For example, the word `shot' is transcribed in British sound but sounds in American. Getting notifications frequently is also irritating. Delaying of display somehow makes bad impression for a learners.
So, my advices to the authority to improve these problems for a better experience of learning.
